Wood fence can be a bit pricey, and the up-keep a bit overwhelming, but the outcome is worth it.

 We use western red cedar on all of our wood fencing, with the exception of round rail fence, which is pine.

 Our recommendation is that you treat your wood fence every year for the first three years, then every third year after that.  We provide shingle oil that can be applied with a sprayer or brushed on which will keep your fence looking like new! It comes in a 5 gallon bucket which covers 100' of solid wood fence, or 200' of split rail fence.
