England Fence is a family owned and operated company.

Steve England, the founder, started working in the fence industry right out of high school

.  Steve retired in 2012 and passed away in 2020.

After his passing the family continues to own and operate the business

Our family has been a part of this community for over 100 years.

 

La Veta England, President and semi retired in 2025, continues to provide consulting advice. 

You might see her in the office from time to time.

 

 Jake England is the current CEO and majority owner. 

Many of you know Jake, he graduated from Montrose High School,

and has been in the fence business his entire life.

Fence has changed over the past almost 50 years and so has our business. 

What once was a 2 man operation has grown into a staff of 22.

Our Installation Crews have all been OSHA Certified.

Several have more than 10 years expeprience in fence installation

and will go over any questions you may have during the installation process

 

Our full shop staff is ready to produce the gates of your dreams

from iron, round rail, chain link or PVC.  All can be customized to your specifications

Our Certified Automatic Gate Designers and Installers 

will help you with options on how to open and shut those gates

from the convenience of your vehicle

. They know about all the new technology for controlling those gates

 

Our office staff consist of salesmen and administrative individuals

who can answer questions and provide assistance.
